DDPC Funding Opportunities

 DDPC has one Request for Proposals (RFPs):

5-6 demonstration projects for promoting effective school-to-work transition.

Letters of intent are due in the DDPC office on June 1, 2004 and funding applications are due on July 1, 2004. This RFP can be viewed and downloaded from the DDPC website: http://www.ddpb2b.com

 

DDPC Needs Proposal Reviewers

The DDPC is looking for individuals who are interested in reviewing proposals received under future DDPC RFPs . If you feel that you have the time and skills to be a proposal reviewer, please contact us at grants@ddpc.state.ny.us . Send your name, address, phone number, email address and either a resume or a paragraph that lets us know the interests and skills that you bring to this task.

Inclusive Recreation - DDPC has developed a manual on inclusive recreation for children. It presents the lessons learned from the many demonstration projects that we have worked with over the last five years. This document is now available on our website. Person-Centered Planning for Transition - DDPC has released our 2nd policy paper on Person-Centered Planning for Transition. The title of this document is Integrating Essential Elements of Person-Centered Transition Planning Practices into the Development of the Individualized Education Program with All Students with Disabilities. This document was developed for DDPC by Cornell University School of Industrial and Labor Relations Program on Employment and Disability. It presents the lessons learned from our 8 school-to-adult life demonstration projects. This document is now available on our website.
